LSS is a full member of LiJOT (Council of Lithuanian Youth Organisations) and IFM-SEI (International Falcon Movement - Socialist Educational International)

Our activities are based on principles of justice, morality and solidarity not taking into account social background, race, nationality or religious beliefs. Our organisation devotes a special attention to children from families with a lower social and material status. LSS takes care of a few orphanages inviting children from there to take part in all activities together.

The main aim of our activities is to encourage children to participate in a social life of our society. This should develop their feeling of responsibility, solidarity, activity, sociability helping them to become active citizens of the state concerned about its development in the future.

You can join the organisation if you are not younger than 6. All members should follow the principles and the Statute of LSS.

short history

Lithuanian Young Falcon Union was founded in December, 1992. In summer of 1993, 40 children adopted the Declaration about the establishment of the organisation and decided upon its title, song and symbol. During the time of the existence of LSS there were organised 12 national and international summer camps at the Baltic Sea, youth exchange projects with partner organizations from Sweden, Finland, Italy, organised many prevention projects and participated in many other activities.
